Back in 2002, Rose, her daughter, Jen, her then husband, Charlie, and I spent a
month in Singapore, Malaysia & Thailand.
I am amusing myself, as we all stay indoors, thanks to the Covid-19 problem, by
scanning some 45 rolls of 36 on my old, slow, but very good, Nikon IV Coolscan.
At the time, I shot Kodacolor Gold 100, which I foolishly had developed in
Thailand, to avoid further X-ray exposure on the way home. I think
temperatures were wrong, as the negatives are relatively grainy and many were
cut by the tech in the middle of the picture!
I've also discovered that back then I was a horrid photographer, who should
never have been trusted with a Leica R5.
Still, there are a few nice shots, and as we go along, I will post those that I
think might appeal.
The first is a young girl, on the island of Koh Jum.
