My own standards are that anything I might have done to a Silver print, in the darkroom, is fair game in PS/Gimp/etc.

I draw the line at removing or adding elements, for while that is readily do-able in PS/Gimp etc. it is not something I would have done in the darkroom.

Fair enough?

So, like Philippe & Ted suggest ... do it! If you hate it, there is not harm done.

I'm loading up with cheap gin, then it may be be easier...
