Hello Gents.

Played yesterday with the R7 and Elmarit 24mm to find out in which cases the shade was most useful.

I know I should have been out tripping the shutter on a subject rather than that I just considered the view through the viewfinder.

Here are my foundings: when light comes from thes side of the scen, the filter causes some ghost image and it degrades the sharpness and overall contrast. Whne th shad is on, those ghosts are reduced to simple ectoplasm...

Was the filter unclean? No, Poor quality? B&W UVa is Okay.

Amazingly the filter induces some reflexinons. Sometimes, I'm deceived by the contrast of this lens, now I start to wonder if it is not related to the use of a filter in some cases of light.

Could it be something to do with the formula of the lens which cannot cope with an extra glass in front of the lens?

Any comment?
