As far as I'm concerned the value of a camera or other tool is measured by its productivity. The productivity of my SL cameras is what I value about them - and if I have an extra one and some cash to spare I'll add some 'farkle' - and keep using it!

Doug - you're the best example I know of a guy producing superb work with 'obsolescent' and maybe 'unfarkled' cameras.


The jewels are the photos, not the cameras.
