Mehrdad, I read about focus issues and know about the screens from companies like KatzeyeOptics, but I haven't noticed any focus problems (even in low light). Andrew Nemith maintains a great collection of information about Leica glass on Canon and Olympus bodies, and just about every other Leica adaptor combination. http://nemeng.com/leica/index.shtml I also collected research information into an article, which is almost complete. I'll ask the list moderator whether he thinks it's appropriate to post (there's no mention of Leica SLR). The new evolution of Zeiss lenses are fantastic. I have a ZM Biogon 25mm for Rangefinder. Definitely better performer than the Cosina cousin. peter, how do you focus the 28 on E1? i have both the e1 and the 28 rom but never tried them together i just got a split focusing screen for the nikon d200 and i am testing it now. if it works, it should be a good candidate for the new zeiss lenses > > Regards, > PJQ This is an email from Corrs Chambers Westgarth or Corrs Support Services Pty Ltd.
