Many thanks Shel,
I'll take a look there.
Bestest regards from rainy Hannover.
Lots of D's today: Damp, dull, dark, drizzly, dreary and FC (which I will translate as "freezing" cold)

Hi Doug ...

The Nikonian site has provided some helpful solutions to problems I had
with the scanner.

Good luck!

Hi Shel,
it works perfectly at 1024 x 768, 1600 x 1200 both have an aspect ratio of 1:1.33333. It didn't work at 1920 x 1080 (1:1.777)
This is on a LaCie 19" CRT - it seems that it needs a certain aspect

ratio.

I've mailed Nikon Support too and hope to get an answer soon

Hi Doug,

At what resolutions are you having problems. I've the same scanner and
will take a look to see if I can duplicate your problem. I seem to

recall

that Scan 4.0 requires/suggests an ideal resolution, but I could be
confusing that with another program.

BTW, mine works just fine with 1024x768 on a 19-inch monitor

Has anyone noticed that the tool palette in Nikon Scan 4.0 doesn't appear on screen when certain screen resolutions are set?

If so, does any one know the settings it will work with?
TIA
Douglas
