I did not believe this until I looked at the photo.
Clarice and I have seen lots of Frigatebirds, many of them in the Galapagos,
and slightly different looking ones at a number of locations around the
northern coasts of South America, the Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico..
The appearance of this one so far inland must be related to recent hurricane
activity in the Caribbean and Gulf.

It is very amazing, makes me want to go to Lake Theo.
