Hi,

Although you can connect an adaptor to a USB port to change it physically
into a D connector like the standard COM Ports you will find that the driver
can only see real COM Ports, therefore you are wasting your time buying a
converter lead.

If your motherboard is like mine, it has available COM Ports but they are
not necessarily taken to external connectors.

I got around this problem by purchasing a COM Port card which could be
assigned to COMs 1 through 4. This works with the Korg PCI connector as the
driver an now see the keyboard, which by the way must be connected when
installing and configuring the driver.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

I'm actually looking to see if there is a PCIF way to hook to USB. Anyone
know of any?
Mitch
