Hi,

the best way to choose patches in Cubase is to use the device manager. You
have to activate it and then load the X5 or 05R dev file (both are the same,
come with Cubase or are to find in Internet). Then in the tracks you have to
choose the instrument, allowing you to choose the patches by doubleclicking
in a grid where you see all the patch names (Rom and Ram). You need to do a
'read from synth' or something similar first....
