Hi Jonathan,
UT Med Center is something we tried with Nissan and the LEAF a few years ago,
but didn’t get anywhere. We were probably too early in the EV awareness cycle
to get interest at the time, so it’s worth another try. Other hospitals like
Parkwest and Fort Sanders/Covenant. As Dave suggested, Whole Foods. Pilot
headquarters. Scripps/HGTV. UT campus is a major employer with faculty and
staff. ORNL.
I went to Atlanta back in the Summer of 2013 for the Southeast launch of the
Electric Smart fortwo and got to drive the electric and gas back to back.
Electric is a much better car, so it’s easy to see why they kept it and dropped
the gas version. The electric is very nice to drive in a city environment.
Don’t know if they still have it, but for the launch they had a nice display
that folded out of the back of a Mercedes truck about the Smart and electric
drive. See attached picture.
Thanks,
Bob
