I think working something through UT might work – get the students (and
faculty) educated and hooked. I am willing to help as a member of the college
of engineering faculty.
However, I wonder if showcasing the very small cars might give the wrong
impression. I still see the small EVs as a niche market. While any EV will
promote the EV technology, I think many people won’t be able to see past the
‘small car’ and won’t extrapolate to more mainstream models that are out (model
3, bolt, etc) and the many more models that are ‘coming soon’

I’m not thinking of open spaces, I’m asking you what large companies come to
mind if you could go to their site and offer free EV test drives to their
employees at that business. My UTMCK example may not have been a good one.

I’ve had all of the staff and workers at UT Medical Center in my mind for some
time, and we worked on such a couple of years ago. The thought was that we’d
show up with a few EVs that we would have for the day, and once all the
approvals were in place we’d basically spend the better part of the whole day
at the location letting people get in the vehicles but hopefully having a
boatload of test drives. I would expect that we would plan well in advance and
work with that entity to get them to internally communicate that we would be
there that day to all of their staff multiple times in advance of the event.
I appreciate any thoughts you have on this!
