Thanks Robert and Mark - your points noted. We can wait and plan on a Friday if
that works best for the final crew we pull together.
Mark - would Fridays work for you?
Peace

Subject: [knoxev] Re: City of Knox. interested in Tesla M3 test drives
Jonathan,
I'd be glad to let folks in the police department drive mine. I'll be totally
immunized by April 13th, so I'd prefer to wait until then.

KEVA Team,
I just got off the phone with Keri Collins who is one of the main fleet
administrators under Nicholas Bradshaw, the fleet manager, for the City of
Knoxville. She does all kinds of work: vehicle procurement, getting selections
approved through the separate city procurement offices, vehicle management,
evaluating new technologies, etc. She's very interested in having an
opportunity to show the Knoxville Police Teslas for test drives, and wants to
get several levels of city staff in fleets management to experience a Tesla M3,
too. (The focus on the M3 is for obvious reasons - least expensive of the Tesla
options.)
Who amongst you might be willing to let police officers or city fleet staff
join me at a setup time to show your M3s to police and fleet and allow some of
the to test drive them?
I don't think I need to explain to you all how huge an opportunity this could
be for KEVA and for the city in taking next steps that could really eleavate
muni procurements for sedans.
Peace
Jonathan
Robert L. - If you feel so inclined, let's have a separate conversation about
repeating this in other TN cities.
