My cousin Dan Peek ( original member of 70's group AMERICA ) died in his sleep
last night around 9:45.
His wife called me at 6 this morning...Dan had been in tremendous pain due to
Rhumatoid Arthritis and may
have took too many pills....I won't call it an overdose till we get the
autopsie report back.
Dan and I became extremly close over the past decade , not because of music ,
but because of our
love for Jesus and our love for St.Louis Cardinals baseball...and for our
weekly discussions of
current politics...Hermain Cain featured Dan's song "Train Coming" in his first
Presidential
announcement ( on youtube) , hence the Cain Train..
