Group members will win trip to New York
Mindshare is excited to announce one of its biggest contests ever. Tell
us about your passion for technology and you might win a trip to New
York to see Bill Gates launch the next wave in mobile computing-the
Tablet PC.
We're looking for members of Mindshare-registered User Groups who are
leaders in pushing the technology envelope. If you or somebody in your
group is the kind of person who eats, sleeps and breathes technology, we
want to hear your story. Tell us what you're doing with your PC these
days and how you're sharing that zeal with others. We're most interested
in learning about the interesting, creative, even ground-breaking things
User Group members are doing with their computers these days and how
you're sharing that passion with others.
The top three entrants-as determined by our panel of expert judges-will
be showered with a prize package that includes an exclusive trip for two
to New York to participate in the Tablet PC launch with Bill Gates Nov.
7 and their own brand new Tablet PC. Runner ups will receive a Pocket PC
or an Xbox system autographed by Robbie Bach with a compete set of
Microsoft Xbox games or other great prizes.

Insider Live!
Microsoft eXtreme has become Microsoft Insider Live!
It's a chance to find out about new Microsoft products before anyone
else and to win a free trip to Vegas and a behind the scenes Microsoft
tour at Comdex or CES
Starting October 5, Microsoft will present Insider Live! on Tech TV,
cable's only 24-hour network devoted to the digital lifestyle. This live
event will give you a first-hand look at new products soon to be
released from Microsoft. It will also offer product demonstrations,
giveaways and a behind the scenes view of Microsoft Research.
Then, with more products than we can fit in the first program, Microsoft
will do it all again in November. All new products, and a whole new

APCUG National Meeting
The Association of Personal Computer User Groups (APCUG) is already hard
at work planning the 17th Annual Fall Conference in Las Vegas, November
16 to November 20.
Microsoft will be sponsoring the Monday Night Dinner again and the fifth
annual Jerry Awards for Community Service projects. Our guest speakers
