FYI: Information on the Z10000 (not X as previously noted) is available here: http://www.cliftonlaboratories.com/z10000_buffer_amp.htm#Introduction_to_Z10000 The Softrock Lite II kit is available here: http://www.kb9yig.com/ Look at the IF Special Softrock Lite II version. Tony can make the kit for pretty much every IF signal required. BTW: I have an SDR-1000 transceiver that is amazing. The absolute best transceiver I have ever owned. I tap off the 10.695 IF in the TS-2000 through this. The output of the buffer/amp feeds the Softrock, providing SDR receive capabilities and a pretty panoramic band scope to boot! Didn't know you were into the softrock kits. For those who do not know what we are talking about, have a look at the following site. www.kb9yig.com Robert VE3RPF ________________________________ From: Max Donoghue <ve3tmt@xxxxxxxx> To: karc@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Thursday, October 1, 2009 11:15:24 AM Subject: [karc] Re: USPS shippments to Canada Even though it can be tracked, sometimes the delivery standards are terrible. I ordered a buffer amplifier and Softrock kit and they took 15 days to arrive. Ridiculous!! Max VE3TMT PS..nice to hear about the fleamarket, I will be attending, need another TS850! ________________________________ From: VA3OL <va3ol@xxxxxxxxx> To: karc@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Thursday, October 1, 2009 9:15:54 AM Subject: [karc] USPS shippments to Canada US postal service shipments to Canada can be tracked! Most of us know that we can track a shipment sent via post on the internet. But I didn't realize that a US tracking number will also show up on Canadapost.ca when it hits Canada. All you have to do is check the USPS.com site and see if it has been accepted by customs...Then check Canadapost.ca with the same tracking number. I now know that my item has cleared customs, is in the country and is out for delivery. I should get it today or tomorrow... FYI. Sorry if everyone but me realized that package tracking was so easy.
