One other tidbit. Once you have your radio routed through the computer, you can have fun recording and processing the sound on the computer. I have used a VOX operated audio recorder (Goldwave) to capture a day's worth of repeater traffic into a short mp3 clip. Doesn't work as well on HF because of poor signal to noise, but still doable. Remember that people are sensitive to recordings of their voice traffic so do this for personal replay purposes only. Cheers, Peter
