BB> Can you use Juno with Pop 3 with v.4, or must you have v.5?

No, and no. If you are to use Juno's software with Juno's POP3 service,
you need Juno version 6, a slightly modified version of NetZero's
program.

BB> If you use Pop 3, do you do so with Outlook Express instead of the
> Juno software?

Yes. Or other POP3 software such as Netscape Mail or Eudora.

BB> Just what would the advantages be to using Pop 3?

Mainly they are advantages of POP3 software at your end which is more
complex and versatile. Get the mail for several accounts with one phone
call. Send mail without getting new incoming mail. Use third party
spam cleaners and virus catchers that work more automatically and are
designed for POP3. Use third party address book software to create and
customize mailing lists. Best of all, give your friends and relatives
viruses that exploit Outlook and other POP3 standard mailers and cannot
be spread by Juno versions 1 through 5.
