Hi All, Juno has updated their Home page once again. NetZero's Free ride is no longer being advertised. In it's place, Juno Free Internet. But with the same limitations as NetZero. Internet connections are limited to 10 hrs per month per household. That's everybody using the same phone line. If you happen to use up your 10 hr, say, by mid-month, Juno will sell you an "Extended Pass" and you'll get basically unlimited access for the remainder of that month. Or you can wait until the first of the following month and you'll get a new 10 hr clock. Or you could choose to go "Platinum" and get back online that way. You'll still be able to access your e-mail either way, just not the Internet. OK, here's the fun part. If you sign up for Juno Platinum, that's $9.95. So how much for that second half of the month, or even a day or two if that's all the month that's remaining? $5.95? $7.95? *$19.95!* Think they'd rather have you sign up for Platinum? Good ol' NetZero... uh, I mean United Online. George Lunt ..... so. cal. ___________________________________________________________ Sent by ePrompter, the premier email notification software.
