Hi Gerry,

I did take a look at the MemoryMap stuff, but with only a single monitor thought it would be too much chopping and changing between FS and MM to be practical...that and the fact I quite like the idea of having a physical map (I guess I'm a bit old fashioned in that respect!).

Cheers

Phil

Phil,

I use the quarter mil. Digitised version by MemoryMap. This will also display your aircraft position, when Locked On, turning it into a moving map. With its own monitor it becomes the ultimate luxury for VFR flying.

Hi all,

A quick question regarding charts for VFR flying. Are the 1:500000
charts good enough for planning/flying VFR flights or are the 1:250000
required?

Cheers

Phil
