Mike, That's the version I'm using.My main problem is that after opting to Download More Dictionaries, nothing seems to happen and only the USA / English version appears in the Selection window.

Make sure that, having installed a new dictionary, you then activate it via Options >> Check spelling >> Select language from drop-down list in lower left corner of dialog box.
