When you say they were not very good what do you mean by that? In other
words what were you expecting to happen that didn't?

Subject: [jhb] Noise Cancellation

My daughter has just bought a budget priced pair of noise cancelling
Creative headphones, of the type sold for use in flight. When tried in
here, with an FSX flight in progress, they weren't spectacularly successful.

It struck me that the same process ought to be possible, just using a
headset coupled to a mike equipped laptop; provided it was running
suitable software. Does anyone know whether noise cancelling software is
available?
