Not quite tip tanks.. ;) http://www.airliners.net/photo/UK---Air/BAE-Systems-Hawk/1861736/M/ ZK024 it was. Valley are the first unit getting the new Hawk T2 so we are seeing a lot down here. It's been a busy day for the mil as I picked up a couple of Belgian F16's, a German CH53 and nine USAF F15's. Ducting is strong today so I guess most are at Valley or shooting the Mach Loop. http://www.mjaviation.co.uk/Lowfly.htm bones bones@xxxxxxx -----Original Message----- From: jhb-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jhb-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Gerry Winskill Sent: 14 July 2011 17:03 To: jhb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [jhb] Re: Farm Strips Just in from trip on Bonnie, to your fiefdom, for S100. Saw a conventional, black, Hawk doing an overshoot. An hour later a second but fitted with tip tanks. Not seen that before. Presumably heading for a foreign airforce?
