I use the word "canal" loosely. It wasn't but looked like the nearby
real world version.

In fact it was a spurious slice of water. Apparently it was there
because of some licensing dispute, of which I know now't.

In the "upgrades" they managed to remove it. Unfortunately they don't
seem to have removed the many and non existent offshore reefs that
appear around the coastline.

I forgot to add that, like a few others, I've given the upgrades a good
shot but reverted to the pre upgrade version. I'm just using one of the
new files, the one that removes the non existant canal, near Chester.
