I recall John had a few issues with his photo scenery but most were
corrected within a few months. After that it was delightful to see good
textures and excellently drawn coastlines. I have never used the Horizon
stuff but it must have been out several years now. I would have thought any
bugs should have been well and truly squashed by now.

I use the word "canal" loosely. It wasn't but looked like the nearby
real world version.
In fact it was a spurious slice of water. Apparently it was there
because of some licensing dispute, of which I know now't.
In the "upgrades" they managed to remove it. Unfortunately they don't
seem to have removed the many and non existent offshore reefs that
appear around the coastline.
