Chris, I accidently deleted the message where you were describing the numb pad.
Can you resend it from your sent items folder? Thanks, Judith

Judith, I believe it prompts you for this during the CD writing process.
Someone could correct me on this though.

I have music files on my computer and would love to use windows media
player to create data CDs. Anyone have the directions for this? Thanks, Judith

Mark, not sure about the exceeding size limit question, but I would have
thought so. Second, yes, I hear that you can create either a data or audio
disk, but only if music-type files exist in the first place. Someone could
correct me on this though, as I have Roxio Creator Basic V9 here on this
machine. Hope that helps. P.S. Talking of Roxio Creator Basic, does anyone use
this programme with JAWS? If not can you suggest of an accessible, preferably
free or inexpensive, alternative? Thanks in advance.

        Chris,

When using this method, will the wizard prompt you if you exceed the
size of the CD? Also, will the wizard give you the choice of creating a data
or music CD? Thanks for this suggestion as I have never tried this method.

Hi Judith, when you send a file to your CD drive, it's not physically
copied to the CD, but instead it's stored in some temporary location where
files ready to be written to a CD are stored. So once you have the files, you
right click the CD drive and select write these files to CD. The CD writing
wizard will then appear. Just follow the instructions and your files will be
written successfully. Hope that helps.

A person sent me this message yesterday as an alternative for
writing a CD:
"Just highlight the folder and initiate a right click option to
select Send to CD "

In his next message he said just highlight the folder I want to
copy and right click. Can anyone tell me how to use this function to create a
CD? Judith
