Hi, Why not copy your files to clipboard then go to the CD Recorder drive & paste your files now look on the file menu for write these files to disk. if this does not work, your CD-R drive is not set for this type of recording, go to my computer select the CD recorder press alt+enter to open the properties go to the recording tab check the box to enable recording you may have to use the jfw cursor to find it or use the hot key alt+E I hope this helps. Can you resend it from your sent items folder? Someone could correct me on this though. Anyone have the directions for this? Second, yes, I hear that you can create either a data or audio disk, but only if music-type files exist in the first place. Someone could correct me on this though, as I have Roxio Creator Basic V9 here on this machine. Hope that helps. P.S. Talking of Roxio Creator Basic, does anyone use this programme with JAWS? If not can you suggest of an accessible, preferably free or inexpensive, alternative? Thanks in advance. Also, will the wizard give you the choice of creating a data or music CD? Thanks for this suggestion as I have never tried this method. So once you have the files, you right click the CD drive and select write these files to CD. The CD writing wizard will then appear. Just follow the instructions and your files will be written successfully. Hope that helps. ----- Original Message ----- From: Judith Bron To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, November 13, 2007 5:23 PM Subject: writing a CD using send function A person sent me this message yesterday as an alternative for writing a CD: "Just highlight the folder and initiate a right click option to select Send to CD " In his next message he said just highlight the folder I want to copy and right click. Can anyone tell me how to use this function to create a CD? Judith Chris Hallsworth BrailleNote mPower User Website: www.chrishallsworth.co.nr
