Since you have found that out, something has occured to me.  The 4.51 that I am 
using, I did not load the latest patch
for.  So now those of  you that lost speech with 4.51, did you have the latest 
patch?  Anybody who did not loose speech
with 4.51, did you have the latest patch?

I have now switched to jaws 5, and it works okay for me up there.
