Hello Alan:

when you are using the "SayAll" command, you can use the left and right
shift keys to skim backward and forward through the text.

The left shift key will move you to the previous line while the right shift
key will move you to the next line.

If I am not mistaken, pressing the page down key will move you down a screen
and continue reading. the page up will do the reverse.

Likewise, you can increase or decrease the speech rate on the fly as well.
