I did the same thing, running the full install and it is working fine.

Sorry to hear about your difficulties with the latest JAWS build. I agree
with you that uninstalling and reinstalling may be your best bet. I've
tried doing updates as you described and ran into trouble with files not
being copied properly or something similar, so I'm once bitten, twice shy.
These days, I just download the whole thing and run the full install. I did
that today and ran the full install right over the top of build 423; so far
everything's cool, or at least I don't hear the time bomb ticking. <g>
