It's a two-stage command. First press insert and spacebar together. Release,
then press s. It's similar to the insert-space, r command for Research It.

As Cy and I noted, while it toggles speech off and on, it doesn't appear to
unload JAWS.

On my computer, insert+s toggles screen echo, insert+space toggles Homerow
Mode on/off. Pressing all three keys does nothing. Why was this keystroke
suggested? How can it work for some but not for all?

Insert plus windows key plus F4. It will take jaws out of memory.

Could someone please send the keystrokes to end jaws? Not the insert+f4, but
the one that ends it abruptly.

I've seen it on this site before, and I promise to store it away somewhere
so I don't have to ask for it again.

Many thanks.

Bob
