Hi. I'm taking a course in audio mastering which is working on other people's music, specifically, audio, changing aspects of the sound. I use Cakewalk Sonar Producer, plus several other programs.

If you want to make music or write music to be printed out, yes, Goodfeel adn Lime Aloud are one option, see www.dancingdots.com for more info on that. Sibelius along with the Sibelius Access Jaws scripts are another option:
www.sibelius.com for the software and
http://www.musicaccess.co.uk/ for the scripts.

What tools you need depends on what you want to be able to do.

Chris
P.S. the midimag list is a good resource for all things music, recording and blindness related, www.midimag.org. Dancing Dots also have several lists for their products, Sibelius Access has a list, etc.
