Robert, I have a similar phone jack setup in my condo. I called the phone company and ordered a new jack instalation. When the serviceman arrived, and seen I only wanted to fax, he gave me a splitter, and phone cord, hooked it up, shook my hand and left. I never recieved a bill. One in the bedroom the other in the kitchen. I guess I could buy a hundred foot of phone cable and run it around to my desk. ----- Original Message ----- From: Dave Carlson To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Monday, November 23, 2009 11:51 PM Subject: Re: faxing Robert, AT the rate of $4.95 per month you've bought a simple fax modem in about 5 months. I can create a document in MS-Word, for example, then send it to the printer called "fax" and after giving it a phone number it gets sent. Faxes received are collected as bitmap files that I can retrieve from a folder and OCR, as well as print. I'm waiting to hear from the company to see how they wil address this complaint. ----- Original Message ----- From: Rob To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Monday, November 23, 2009 2:05 PM Subject: Re: faxing the lowest price I found was $4.95 per month. are you sure it was 95 cents per month? ----- Original Message ----- From: robert Doc Wright To: jaws users list Sent: Monday, November 23, 2009 2:34 PM Subject: faxing Ignore my last post. I found an online fax service that cost $.95 per month for 50 outgoing and 100 incoming faxes. this gives you 20mb of storage. You can purchase more space if necessary. the site is very accessible. the address is: https://www.trustfax.com __________ NOD32 4631 (20091123) Information __________ This message was checked by NOD32 antivirus system. http://www.eset.com
