Re: crackling speech

I had similar issue with the same sound card long time ago. Try this:

1. Go to Control Panel.

2. Open "Sound".

3. From the PlayBack tab, select "Speakers", and tab to "Proberties
and hit enter.

4. Select Enhancements tab, and make sure that all of the check boxes
are unchecked.

Hope this works.
