This may sound stupid and I'm sorry if it does but I've done this a few
times, check the wires plugging the speakers in, when they just stop like
that, some times something gets caught in that wire or something gets
unplugged and it will drive you nuts, most people I know including me have
done it at least once in the past reinstalling drivers and all and then find
out it's a stupid wire the hole time.
