Hi, Jamie,

You are right. It is important to be at the very least comfortable
with what you do. As for Java Access Bridge, it's a program written
by Sun Microsystems that makes it so Jaws can read Java applets. you
get it from their site. I was able to make the thing work but, for a
while there, it was a truly unmitigated colossal pain in the back
side. I understand that it had to do with their applet being made
with a version of Java that was prehistoric and the Access Bridge that
was available was written several years after that version of Java
came out. I had to use the Jaws cursor a lot.

I'm always in mild awe of people who work from home. I can't do it.
I just can't. I find it nearly impossible to focus. That and it's
difficult to feel professional in PJ's and house shoes with your dog
laying across your feet.

Glad to hear the braille note works with Jaws as a braille display. I
have a Braille Sense Plus which I have been quite unable to make work
with Jaws. I probably need the driver.

Have a nice day,
Alex
