That sounds like a real drag. Personally, I really appreciate auto 
completion sometimes, as when I'm saved from typing in entire paths when 
opening a file in Word or saving something, and usually it's also a 
convenience in the address bar, though sometimes not.

anyway, I'm sorry it's acting quirky for you. At least Robert did a good job 
of covering all the places where you could check your settings, so you can 
feel pretty sure it's a malfunction and not your fault.

Exactly, no automatic completion of the web addresses. I went to the content
page, and this feature remains checked. I even reset and got some
interesting things to happen but alas, still no automatic web address
completion. I really enjoyed that feature for as long as it lasted.
