Yes; just go to the folder you want to sort, and the view menu knows where you are and will only change that folder. Ascending order puts your messages with the oldest at the top.

Received is checked but so is ascending.

Can I have messages sorted different ways in different folders? I like the
way they're sorted in all of my other folders, the only one that I want to
change is the deleted messages folder.

Hi,

Sorry, I sent my previous reply to this question to the wrong thread (grin).
But anyways...go to the menu bar and choose View. Then arrow down to Sort,
open it, then choose Received. That should set things up the way you'd like
it.

Subject: an OE question

Hi All,
Is there any way to organize the messages in my deleted messages folder so
that the most recently deleted messages end up at the bottom of the list
of
messages? I don't get the question about deleting a collapsed thread of
messages anymore because I inadvertently checked the box for it to not
notify me and sometimes I will delete what I think is a single message
only
to realize that it was an entire thread. If the most recently deleted
messages were at the bottom of my deleted messages folder it would make it
easy to go find the messages that I inadvertently deleted and haven't read
yet.

Thanks.
Troy
