In JAWS 10 with auto forms turned on, these are edit fields. JAWS 10 is by
default set to make a noise when entering and leaving these fields with the Tab
key.
You can change the behavior by using the configuration manager when focused on
a web page.

I've come across links that when accessed have a swishing noise and then I
don't get anything. Is there a way to access these links? I tried hitting the
space bar and then enter, but that doesn't work. Help! Judith
