I've tried to mess with it, but wasn't very successful. I had posted
asking about scripts, but there were none at the time of my post which
was a few months ago. The online feature can be disabled in messenger,
under preferences I think.

Subject: Yahoo Messenger

Does anyone on this list use Yahoo Messenger for chats and everything
else? Also, is there a way I can make it to where it won't
automatically activate when I go online? I'd like to control that a bit
more.
