What company is it for? I used a SoftPhone application in my previous job in
a call center, and there had to be scripting done to make it work relatively
well with JAWS 7.1.

Hi,
Thanks, Jim, I appreciate that. I'm not sure if she's using JAWS 9, so I'll
have to check.

While reviewing this company's training guide, I noticed that they also
mentioned a Softphone application. Have you heard of Softphone and do you
know anything about it?
Thanks.
Tom

  Hi tom,

Jaws 9.0 ships scripts for yahoo messenger. They work reasonably well.

  Hope that helps.

  Hi,

I have a potential client who will be doing some teleworking from her
home. It will involve using the company's web applications to retrieve
information and track customer calls. Part of the work involves using Yahoo
Messenger to communicate with company contacts as well. It's been a long
time since I've seen Yahoo Messenger, perhaps several years, and at the time
it didn't seem particularly friendly with JAWS. How well does it work these
days? Are scripts available?

  Tom
