Is your friend in the normal view as opposed to the print or some other view?

Did the friend maximize the page? Can she/he check the font, noting the

Could that crazy office assistant or something like it be popping up?

Are the settings to those recommended on Cathy Ann's reference card?

Hi Gerry,

What if, as a friend of mine let me know, that the Office Plug-in is not
checked and JAWS is still acting odd with not reading lines or calling
them blank. He's using JAWS 5.0 as well. The only way he can read text
is with SayAll. He just bought the IBM ThinkPad, and FS recommended he
update his video drivers. Do you, or anyone else, have any suggestions?

Thanks!

Francis
