Okay, Lenedith, there's one of two ways you can do this:
1) You can go to
mail.yahoo.com
and set up a POP3 account for your friend. I forget what it costs per year.
or 2) There's a program called Yahoo Pops which is free and can be
downloaded from the JFWLite site
www.jfwlite.com
It has plenty of good documentation on how to set it up.
