Are you sure the two spaces are not because an author has justified the text?

  Hi Judith,
JAWS is reading the screen correctly and while I do value the two
spaces announcement between sentences and after the period of a
sentence, occasionally I read a document where the author uses two
spaces between words frequently and it drives me nuts. I am
wondering if the two spaces can be toggled or turned off.
  Thanks,
  Tom
