Well, if you wanted to move the document from your email you could use
email stripper. It works well. I was going to suggest that you use the
edit function and just replace the greater sign with a blank but, you
are in read only mode so forget that idea.
Do what I have done and go into the pronunciation dictionary and tell it
to pronounce the greater than sign as a space.
