I haven't looked at it in a long time, but total recorder used to define settings as soundcard (would get jaws in it) and microphone (would not get sound card/jaws in it) as two different items. an additional note I have an audio tutorial from a fellow list runner on total recorder, but I'm not sure which version, if anyone might be interested. take care, elf . In that case, your friend needs to set the settings to "record through sound board" and only include the inputs they need for recording, such as Auxiliary, or Line-in. Thank you. The issue is with total recorder recording the jaws voice when he records something like an audio stream off the internet. It doesn't allow you to turn off the what you hear selection so it doesn't catch the jaws voice. He upgraded to Jaws 12 and as a result, had to upgrade his version of total recorder. Now everything he records includes the jaws voice. If anyone has some tips or guidance, I can let him know what to do.
