What he needs to do is switch to "Software Mode". In this mode, he can open the options menu, go to the "Drivers" tab, press the "Exclusions" button, press the Browse" button, and exclude the JAWS application from there as excluded software. The issue is with total recorder recording the jaws voice when he records something like an audio stream off the internet. It doesn't allow you to turn off the what you hear selection so it doesn't catch the jaws voice. He upgraded to Jaws 12 and as a result, had to upgrade his version of total recorder. Now everything he records includes the jaws voice. If anyone has some tips or guidance, I can let him know what to do.
