Jerry, Being a writer I need all punctuation announced. I know that when
speaking a quote jaws changes pitch. Sorry I couldn't help you. JB

  Hi Judith,

In principle, setting all voices to speak all punctuation should not be
necessary since, aside from quotation marks, in say all mode, all commas,
periods etc. would be spoken, not what wants necessarily. In Jaws 7, setting
this parameter to all rather than some is not necessary. All one need do is
tell the speech manager that quotations should be spoken in another voice.
Works well, but not in subsequent versions and builds. What I wanted to know
was whether or not the very most recent build, just released, had corrected
that broken feature.

  Thanks.

  Jerry

Do you have your voices set to announce all punctuation? If yes, the voice
should change pitch in quotations. Judith

As of Jaws 8, I have been unable to invoke the quotation voice, even
though it has been correctly designated in voice aliases. Does anyone know if
the problem still persists in the very latest build of Jaws 9?

      Thank you.

      Jerry
