  1. Open Dictionary Manager with insert d.
  2. Press shift control d to open the default file.
  3. Press enter on the add button. 
  4. In the actual word edit field, type blank, that's b l a n k
  5. In the replacement word edit field, simply put a space.
  6. Press enter to add it to the dictionary.
  7. Close out of Dictionary Manager, answering yes to the prompt to save the 
file.
