Hello Peter,

Happy new Year. Thanks for sharing your personal experience with the
RealSpeak voices (I hate the way Jaws and Eloquence pronounce that if you
don't capitalize the "s"). I guess I'll just have to install those voices
and see how I feel about them. As I said, I'm so accustomed to the Eloquence
voice of Reed that unless the alternative performs just as responsively and
crisply as that, I'm not very likely to be charmed into using it. Which is
fine. I'll just have to try it out.

I've used some of the earlier realspeak voices with JAWS and a fast PC and I
found it good enough for all uses. It did have a very slightly, hardly
noticable delay, but over time you do notice it.

Despite many people criticising the JAWS voice as is, I actualy found myself
going back to it and I seemed to listen to it better and take in what it was
saying.

The realspeak voices I used before, where ones which came with Kurzweil 1000
which I use at work.

Peter
