I've used some of the earlier realspeak voices with JAWS and a fast PC and I found it good enough for all uses. It did have a very slightly, hardly noticable delay, but over time you do notice it.
Despite many people criticising the JAWS voice as is, I actualy found myself going back to it and I seemed to listen to it better and take in what it was saying.
The realspeak voices I used before, where ones which came with Kurzweil 1000 which I use at work.

I haven't received my CDs yet, so I don't have the voices. don't ask; I've been on the phone with FS three times about this, and their file shows they've resent the package twice by now, with nothing ever having arrived, at least not yet. God knows, Reed may have his faults, but at least he's got pretty good vocal reflexes for doing most of the work we do on the computer.
